Halloween in PTC

Every Halloween, our neighborhood has a golf cart parade.  We have a blast parading through the neighborhood and seeing all the decked out carts.

Flower Girl

Perry and I were forunate enough to be asked by a dear friend to be in her wedding - in Maui.  Here are a few pics of the beautiful flower girl.

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, Perry's primary teacher helped her fill out a questionnaire about me:
My mom is 40 years old. (only 10 years off)
Her birthday is cember (June)
She was born in my grandma's town (not sure which one she meant, but neither is true - Atlanta)
She has 5 brothers and no sisters (2 and 2)
Her eyes are blue and her hair is black (hazel and blond)
My mom loves to color with me.(wishful thinking on her part)
I know my mom loves me because she does. (Finally, she got one right!!)
My mom cooks the best hamukers. (I think I've made them for her once)
If I could give my mom anything is would be a surprise. (so cute!)
The thing I love most about my mom is coloring hamuckers. (????)

Easter

We spent Easter at Jack's brother's house this year. We had a great time with family and we're so happy to live so close to them now! We bought Jackson a Mater truck and Perry skates. I'm excited they loved such small gifts - hopefully this lasts a few years!

Perry's School Easter Party

Perry is such a big girl now! She LOVES school and Jackson loves to visit her there. She was the line leader on this day and was very proud of herself!

Playgroup Egg Hunt

The boys had a great time hunting Easter eggs and Jackson had an even better time eating them!

We celebrated a few days late, but we did celebrate Jackson's birthday! He had a great time and loved his gifts (can you tell :).

We had a great time going on a golf cart parade, pizza at the clubhouse, and then trick or treating via golf cart. We love it here!

Long time, no post

Since the last time I posted a lot has changed. My sister got married, my grandfather passed away, we've sold our house and bought a new one in Peachtree City, GA, and Perry turned three. It is a little unsetteling on how much can happen in such a short span of time. While most of the changes are positive, they are also bittersweet. I miss my grandfather so much. He was a great grandfather. He and my grandmother have always been there for us and have been a constant in my life and I truly appreciate them.

A friend brought back our bouncer and Jackson hopped right in! He loved it. He stayed in it for about ten minutes before wanting to get out. Jackson also loves to push Perry in her doll stroller. It seems like just the other day that Perry was pushing a six week old Jackson in the same stroller. Time flies!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to our church Easter egg hunt this morning. The kids had a blast finding the eggs and hanging out with friends. Now, if I can just stay out of the candy, the day will be a success!
